The book The Devotional Life of the Sunday School Teacher is copyright 1913 by the Trustees of the Presbyterian Board of Publication and Sabbath School Work. The completed manuscript was found among Dr. Miller's papers after his death.
All of James Russell Miller’s works are out of copyright, so you are free to copy and distribute them as you feel fit.
In the USA, all works published before 1923 are out of copyright. In Canada and the UK the rule is 50 years after the death of the author. Which means 1962 in the case of Dr. Miller. For works nor yet out of copyright, these rules have been undergoing revision, so don’t apply these guidelines to other authors or countries.
