The Way of Victory

J.R. Miller

Forward

A popular writer once asked his readers what they would say if they were asked to to put in ten pages a series of rules for the guidance of a son, brother, or friend. Then he suggested that no matter how well anyone may perform his task, his work “would seem to be loose and wordy” in comparison with the exalted wisdom of the Book of Proverbs.

In “The Path of Life” Dr. Miller's intimate words about some of these wonderful proverbs have been brought together that those who have learned to love the book of proverbs may delight in it still more, and that — perchance — some who have turned from this portion of God’s word with the feeling that it holds nothing for them may be led to resolve to make a thorough reading of this book of wisdom a regular portion of their Bible study.
